Allyson P. Karnes, President, has 24 years experience in the lending industry. She has a vast knowledge of not only residential, but commercial loans. Allyson is a lifetime resident of Southwest Florida. Her family includes her husband Ted, Sr. V.P., and five children, Erik, Jacquelyn, Michael, Steven & Donald. She also has one granddaughter, Savannah.

Allyson holds a Florida Mortgage Brokers Lic., Florida Real Estate Brokers Lic. And is a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. She is a member of the Florida Mortgage Brokers Assn., Order of the Eastern Star, and past Chapter Chairmen for the American Red Cross.

Allyson’s hobbies include boating, golf, gardening and antiques.

Liz M. Jarvis

Liz Jarvis was born in Norway and grew up in Massachusetts. She relocated to Florida with her husband, David in 1981. Liz and her husband have one son, and a grandson who also reside in Port Charlotte.

Liz has worked in the finance industry for over 26 years. Liz has been with Heritage Mortgage since 1998, as a Vice President and Loan Officer.

Liz's hobbies include boating, music and travel.

Laurence & Cathy Matthews

Laurence Matthews is originally from the Chicago area and after a five-year stay in Michigan he is now a resident of Port Charlotte, Florida. Larry took an early retirement from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago where he worked as, among other things, a Senior Financial Analyst. While working at the Fed he acquired a real estate license and sold real estate for a short time. Upon his retirement, Larry began a second career as a mortgage loan officer. He then moved to Michigan where he worked as a mortgage broker. Larry is now with Heritage Mortgage Corporation where his several years of experience in the industry brings a distinct advantage to his customers.

Larry loves his music, boating and fishing; which Port Charlotte provides in plenty.

Cathy is originally from the Chicago area where she worked as a bookkeeper and customer service representative for the A&P Tea Company. The company closed it's Chicago division and Cathy settled into being a loan processor, then a loan officer. During this time she also became a licensed real estate agent. She then moved to Michigan and worked as a mortgage broker for 5 years. She has since relocated to Port Charlotte, Florida (snow is pretty to look at, but cold!). Cathy now works as a processor and loan officer for Heritage Mortgage Corporation. Cathy sold real estate for six years and has been in the mortgage industry for 14 years. This background has given Cathy an excellent knowledge base, allowing her to provide a wide range of quality services to her clientelle.

Cathy is an avid gardener, loves boating, and is becoming quite the angler.

After graduating from Port Charlotte High School in 1998, Jenn Sheridan wanted to start a career in the finance industry. She started processing loans for Heritage Mortgage Corp. in 1999, and is now the company’s Sr. Loan Processor.

Jenn and her husband, Erik, are lifetime residents of Port Charlotte. She and her husband are avid anglers. They participate in many of the local fishing tournaments.
